What a nice surprise!!
Thanks so much to Mississauga Music Awards for the opportunity to play at this year's award show and for the 4 nominations. I'm so excited to let you all know that I was selected for Song of The Year with my song "Free." These are never expected and always unexpected. These past 2 years have been pretty wild and during a time when I thought my career would take a dive it's provided so many blessings too. "Free" was the first song I ever released during a pandemic, the first song that reached so many milestones for me, the first song to win a music award at Mississauga Music Awards for Best Video in 2020 and now first time award for "Song of the Year". I'm so grateful! Thanks to everyone who has been a part of the journey and who've streamed, shared and enjoyed this song with me!!
